What site is this for?

Quansight Consulting, Quansight Labs

Expected behavior

From @lezcano: "I think it could potentially do with a clickable summary of sections and subsections on the side of the post. At the moment three is too much unused space there in a 16x9 screen."

If of interest, this could be implemented for both Labs and Consulting blogs. If we move forward, it will make the most sense to wait until #577 is merged.

Considerations:

  • A left-floating TOC probably only makes sense for desktop screen size
    • It might only make sense for wide or high-resolution displays?
  • Should we also implement some other kind of clickable TOC for tablet/mobile?
  • Should we add a toggle for whether or not to display the TOC?
    • For shorter posts or posts with minimal heading structure, we might want to suppress the TOC

Actual behavior

No floating TOC implemented.
