Above commands will work only if packages in current-testing repository were built from given commit (i.e. no new version superseded it).

sys-usb doesn't seem to randomly fail to boot when USB thumb drive/USB Security dongle is connected prior of booting.
Restarting sys-usb seems to work as well.
