It's unclear to me why there are so many files that appear changed when I didn't make all these changes. What I did here was rebase this code on the upstream. So those commits are now present, the number of file changes really looks odd. I can definitely see that files changed upstream are appearing as changes here.

I did build quicr/transport with this branch. It did build OK.

Closing for now since PR #9 updates master with other bug fixes.
