Native cognitive testing provided in aRMT app could be useful and simplify basic cognitive testing for users. e.g. Simple Reaction Speed, Memory and Stroop Test etc.
This is a top level issue placeholder for adding linked issues to track different basic cognitive tests we are considering adding natively to aRMT.

  • Stroop Test (could be a adaptation of the existing Speech Test for example, or some variation that doesn't require audio processing e.g. clicking on the buttons of corresponding colour)
  • Reaction Speed (options TBD) we already run timing functions on questionnaire answers, would be relatively easy to adapt this.
  • Working Memory (options TBD) e.g. recall a list of words shown in sequence something like the MONTREAL COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT for example
  • - [ ] Decision Making (options TBD)
  • Executive Function (options TBD)

Good idea with one caveat being that response times with latencies of even ms might not be feasible in some cases, which is very much the case with cross-platform frameworks. We should do some tests and check the feasibility of this first.
