The Pre-Fest Workshop is a full-day hands-on event where attendees can learn the details of building both back-end and front-end solutions for the Web. This year, the workshop is led by RESTFest alumni, Shelby-Switzer and Mike-Amundsen.

Thursday HackDay
HackDay is a chance for all RESTFest participants to join together an collaborate on one or more projects. This year's HackDay theme is Open Data and will be led by Shelby-Switzer. Whether your a developer, designer, deployment maven, documentation wizard, or just plain ready to help, we need all types this year to help build out real open data sites and projects. We also start some of the Featured-Talk and Five-in-Five talks Friday afternoon.

StackDay is a chance for all of us to show off cool tools and libraries we use when working on the Web. If you'be built some tools, show them off! If you really enjoy working with some platform, libraries, or other tools we'd love to learn more about them and how you use them.
Friday night is also when we host the Keynote. This year's talk is "Time to Redecentralise the Web" by Irina Bolychevsky.
Finally, Friday night is GameNight. Bring your family-friendly board games and card games for a night of fun.
