I used the command palette in vs code to open the running extensions to check their activation time, then I found the following warning under the R extension:
"cannot register 'r.rpath.windows'. this property is already registered"
I don't have any path registered in r.rpath and r.rterm in vs code settings. The path is registered globally in Windows environment variables and everything is working fine.
I also didn't find anything registered in the JSON settings file for R except:
Hi @Mohamed-Hossam2002, do you have any other R extensions installed? Typically the warning that This property is already registered pops up when multiple extensions are trying to register the same property, in this case r.rpath.windows. I think in the past there may have been an overlap with the R debugger extension, but don't quote me on that.
In any case, I've found that the warning itself doesn't affect the running of this extension. Please let me know if it's causing further issues for you.
Hey @ElianHugh, I have two other R extensions installed: R debugger and R test explorer. After disabling the R debugger extension, the warning was gone indeed. If you know any other way to remove the warning without disabling the R debugger, please let me know. Nonetheless, the warning doesn't cause any problems for me as well, so I can cope with it. If any other issues arise, I'll let you know. Thanks a lot for your help.

So I'm not sure why this message is there. Any help on how to remove this warning message would be appreciated.
