current master have this square things on start pause menu

which start happening from PR #6357 (build 8354)

build 8351 shows it just fine without any flicker

tested on Vulkan, no idea if it happens on OpenGL too

The spec is the same as old issue I made before.
Operating System:
Windows 10 build 1903
Ram: 8 GB
CPU: i7-8550U
GPU: Nvidia Geforce MX130

Try enabling Read Color Buffers. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix needs that option to fix flickering background in pause menu (also that bug begins to appear since that PR). You can find it in Advanced tab, in Settings.

thanks, that setting fixed that flickering issue
should I close this issue or keep it open? Since it looks like a old setting problem instead of a regression

Read/Write Buffers are not legacy options; they aren't workarounds, they're how the real hardware behaves. Close this if its fixed with settings.
