Hi everyone,

I have an installation of RSS bridge on a shared host. For more than a year now I've not been able to get / keep the Instagram bridge working. I've of course tried the suggested configuration and everything else I have read here, but short of cerating a new instagram account every 48 hours [since they keep getting banned] I don't see a real solution anywhere. So my question is, does anyone have a solution for this? Realistically is the Instagram bridge ever going to work again?

Cheers!

I have about 40 feeds updating every 12 hours or so. I have so far had 3 accounts banned, and I don't know of a solution that would not require logging in at the moment. How many do you have?

I shouold probably also mention that I have friends and colleagues with the exact same issue, so at this point I don't think it's anything specific to my set-up.

Instagram is aggressive with bots. I see no good solutions.

One alternative is to distribute the load evenly over the 24 hours in a day. It's a large feature but it can be done. Would require persist data and perhaps a worker queue.

I have mentioned some time ago, that I am experimenting with using userscript to fetch data from Instagram. #1891 (comment)

It is still WIP. As for now it is working, but sometimes you need to check if chrome is not returning 500 or instagram asks for phone verification after long time of getting 429 errors.
