This Issue relates to #676 in TEASER

What is your problem?

  • The Reduced Order Model in AixLib currently only supports a simple heater and/or cooler with a PI-controller. Other systems like panel heating and cooling or thermal activation of building structures (TABS) are not yet implemented.

Why do you want to solve it?

  • The goal is to study the effect of different heat transfer systems onto 5th generation district heating and cooling networks. To study the dynamics of different heating systems they must be implemented into the ROM first.

How do you want to solve it?

  • VDI 6007-1 Anhang C1 (from 2016_06) extends the currently used 2-C-model for thermal building simulations so that panel heating and cooling as well as thermal activation of building structures (TABS) can be integrated. We want to integrate this into AixLib.
