Radium XT

Radium XT is the latest Radium wallet based on Bitcoin 0.13.2 and Blackcoin More.

Update Process

While Radium XT is technically compatible with previous Radium wallets, it is recommended to create a new installation. The data folder will be /appdata/radium13. The same for your funds, it is technically possible to use the same wallet.dat file, but it is better to use the wallet created by new installation and send your funds to this new wallet.

  1. Backup your current wallet.dat file
  2. Start the new RadiumXT client
  3. Backup your new wallet.dat fine from /appdata/radium13
  4. Transfer funds to the new wallet.

Feature Upgrades

  • Significant decrease in sync times. Most users can expect a full sync in about 90 minutes
  • HD wallet generation. Improves performance and wallet security.
  • Significant decrease in system resource utilization
  • Increased client stability when staking large numbers of coins
  • 4K Scaling
  • GUI Improvements

Known Issues

Some antivirus software will detect most crypto wallets as malware. This is due to the rarity of new crypto wallets. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done to address this issue at this time.

On very rare occasions, the wallet can loose track of an input while staking. This can result in an incorrectly reported balance in the graphical interface. This is corrected by restarting the wallet using the --zapwallettxes=2 command. We are continuing to track and gather data on this issue. Please contact any Radium team member for any additional support.
