Source code of an Android health and wellness application. This application offers five videos channels, which provide users guidelines to keep healthy habits or help for rehabilitation purposes. It can be downloaded and installed in the following link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.healthtube
This application shows how to populate ListViews with YouTube videos (belonging to existing playlists on my YouTube channel). It was developed to its functionality be incorporated to the mHealthDroid framework (https://github.com/mHealthDroid/mHealthDroid), which offers this functionality in a really easy way abstracting implementation complexities to the developer.
The app uses the YouTube Android Player API. You can get all the information about this library in https://developers.google.com/youtube/android/player/.
UPDATE 27-03-2014
There was a bug on the APP. The player only was able to load the first video, no matter you were selecting a different video from the list. Now it is solved and every time a video is selected from the list view, the player is refreshed.
- Available channels: General Health, Back, Knee, Ankle and Neck.
- All channels videos appears in a scrollable list view, where any video may be selected to be displayed.
- Video visualization in a embedded player on the screen.
- Videos list extendable/collapsible, as well as the embedded player.
