Project Setup Tutorial

Prerequisites

1. Node.js and npm installed on your machine. You can download them from here.
2. Create a Firebase project on the Firebase Console.

Step 1: Create React App

npx create-react-app dwelling-real-estate
cd dwelling-real-estate

Step 2: Install Tailwind CSS

# Install tailwindcss and its dependencies
npm install tailwindcss postcss autoprefixer

# Create a configuration file for tailwind
npx tailwindcss init -p

In the tailwind.config.js file, make sure to configure it appropriately for your project.

Step 3: Configure PostCSS

Create a postcss.config.js file in the project root and add the following content:

  plugins: [require("tailwindcss"), require("autoprefixer")],
};

Step 4: Set Up Firebase

1. Install Firebase tools:

npm install -g firebase-tools

2. Login to Firebase:

firebase login

3. Initialize Firebase in your project::

firebase init

During initialization, choose Firebase features relevant to your project, such as Authentication and Firestore.

Step 5 : Connect Firebase Config

In your src folder, create a firebase.js file:
