Treatlife makes 3-way wall switches with a unique characteristic. There is a power sensor that tells you whether the load is on or not. This allows the switch to work with standard dumb 3-way switches on the other end of the traveler.
The module is a tywe3s module. There are a number of posts with flashing instructions. I was not able to use the tuya connect approach, but flashed it using a serial connection. If you have a 3D printer there are jigs for flashing these on Thingiverse.
The code that I am posting works with all of the switch functionality but the "white" light that usually goes opposite of power to the load. My house does not tolerate a bunch of little lights everywhere.
