Bug description

After I lock my screen/switch to background playback the video quality permanently switches to 360p. The only workaround is closing and restarting the player thereby deleting my play next queue.

Try turning off iOS spoofing and use Android VR.

Also try setting "Higher picture quality" in the stock YT video quality menu.

First of all thanks a lot for the help. I tried a few combination of these two settings. Changing settings in the stock video quality menu doesn't seem to make any difference. I had spoofing set to Android VR by default. Changing spoofing to iOS solved the problem! Changing back to Android VR caused the problem to appear again.

If you are familiar with patching using command line and a computer (or you are willing to figure out patching this way), you can try patching with the latest dev release and see if the issue is still present with Android VR.

Dev has a minor fix for spoofing that may or may not fix this.

Sounds like a fun way to procrastinate my school work even farther😂. But I have to finish said school work first. If I get it done today I'll look into it tomorrow.
