I created a desktop version of snapdrop named Snapdrop For Desktop by forking node-snapdrop (Number 5 on the Third-Party Apps list) and creating a self-contained electron version. It should have similar functionality to Snapdrop Desktop App (Number 1 on that same list), although, that one does not seem to be actively maintained. Feel free to add node-snap-electron to the third party app list if you feel it is useful.

@JustSch Why though? Installing the PWA is easy and doesn't take 100mb.

@ciriousjoker the PWA requires that snapdrop.net be up. I created the desktop version so I could use it locally with the server self contained inside it so it remains functional while snapdrop.net is down since it used to go down often
