Black boxes replacing select options on my account -> preferences #229

My Setup

  • Arch (kernel 4.6.4) and Ubuntu 16.04LTS:
  • 1.3.1:
  • I have tested with the latest application version
  • I can simulate the issue easily

Description

Select menu options on the My account -> Preferences page render as black boxes on Arch and Ubuntu systems, both running v1.3.1 client.

The options appear as expected in Chrome.

Expected Behavior

The options should be visible.

Upon further investigation, we've noticed that both machines are using Nouveau drivers for nVidia cards.

Looks like this is an electron issue, not one that is specific to Rocket.Chat.
