It sucks that it is not written in Python.

I'm sure that is why no one did take over the project.

And why there is no help to get on a question like this.

@qkum, why Python? Tbh I thought Python was kinda dumb. Why would Python be any better than the current.

@qkum, why Python? Tbh I thought Python was kinda dumb. Why would Python be any better than the current.

Python and dumb in the same sentence is unintelligent in itself. So I wont comment on that one.

  • Because every new programmer 2022 learns Python first. So, there are tons of newbies who could take over a project like this if it had been written in Python, including myself. But because they picked a Niche/Veteran language, those who normally would find it fun to continue on this project can't.

  • Most kali linux programs are funny enough also written in python. Python is the future/king of non UI/GUI programming.

  • Check the data before you refute the truth.

  • Python is strong as said the Add CLI missing parameter to configure USB gadget settings (serial, vid, pid ...) #1 language for Data-Science, but in general it is great because it is versatile, logical syntax, easy to learn, libraries for anything, you can code much faster in Python vs old languages like C. At least 25% faster the professionals say, and much fewer bugs due to non-logical code, and the fact that it was designed intelligently and therefore to be build with security in mind. Vs Java where it is easy to create un-secure code that hackers then can abuse. (was never created with security in mind)

Have a nice day.

I think I found the solution. You had not figured out that you have to Save = "Storage". Otherwise your changes will be lost.

  • On top of that, you have to go to the "basic settings" tab and create a "Master Template", where you pick your saved "Storage" config files that you created in the Wifi tab, Bluetooth tab, Networking tab, etc. AND then you have to save that Master Template, by clicking "Storage", AND then pick that "Master Template" to be run by default at boot.

Pretty non-logical imo. Last time I gave this project a shot I had to give up for the same reason. This time I figured the basics out.

I did not mean to type Python is dumb. I was half asleep when I wrote that. I know Python is not dumb. Sorry for the confusion

I have used the way you talk about, but when I restart, the system has reset again. After repeated many times, I gave up!

So, is there an explanation why it forgets everything after a reboot, after all?
