The Lazy-Made-With-Travis Release
This will more than likely be the last release on this repo. As such, this will also be my laziest release as the build I'm providing was made with Travis.
Future releases will be provided directly from the main qTox repo, possivly the official one being released real soon.
Long live: Doesn't make waffles
The Ohh-This-Update-System-Is-Still-A-Thing Release
I apologize that this update is so late after a major release, things have come up in my life and this got pushed so far back I never noticed.
This update comes with the 1.3.0 tag and commits since it's release up to this point.
I'll try to keep up better, no promises. Hopefully an OSX update system can be worked out so these releases are redundant.

DON'T PANIC
The A\V-Patch-Versioning-Auto-Start Release
Commit: qTox/qTox@26e7bde
This release will affect your profile and settings directory to comply with the Tox Client Standard.
For some users you may not notice anything has happened, this is intended. For others; you may get a dialog box appear when you first launch after updating, stating there is a backup of your profile located in your home directory with a hidden file name.
Beyond that what else is new?
- Enable client to launch when you login.
- A\V Updates from @tux3
- Updates to internal config system (Things no normal user would ever notice unless you've got an archive of clients)
- Fancy DMG because why not?
- Makes waffles
The Finally-We-Have-Video Release
This release is meant to bring the OSX Client versioning up to the rest of qTox(Kinda) as well as finally having video and desktop sharing implemented.
- Chat with friends
- Chat with enemies
- Video Calling
- Desktop Sharing
- P2P File Transfers
- Makes waffles
- Group chats
- Puts you on the NSA watch list
The Stable Not-Quite-Official-Yet release
Commit Version: qTox/qTox@634ca9d
This release fixes:
- Avatar disappearing on quit
- Bug fixes and mostly boring back end stuff
- Makes waffles
- Updated translations
It should be noted that video is still not working with the OSX release, you could receive a video call but you would not be able to send your video stream to someone else.
As always please report any bugs to the official qTox git repo here: https://github.com/tux3/qTox/issues
Oops...
This is merely a patch updating an included framework library. I goofed on this one..
UPDATE: Changed binary download to compressed file version.
The almost bi-weekly update!
No new major features, just bug fixes
qTox/qTox@4d54f5c
- Create a profile
- Add friends
- Set a profile pic (Bug exists that causes it to default on startup)
- Chat with friends

The not as experimental release!
Since I've gotten no major complaints about the application not running on any one system (yet) this is the first release of qTox for OSX!
What's new?
- Included instructions for the brave of how to compile the application themselves
- Added an Applications folder alias
- Added some extra into to README
- Used build reversion: qTox/qTox@c568a4d
What hasn't changed?
- Any previous OSX bugs will still be there
- Still doesn't make waffles
- Video calling (Being worked on)
Experimental OSX application
This binary is experimental in it's nature, it comes with no guarantee that it will work as intended.
Report any program issues to https://github.com/tux3/qTox/issues to keep everything organized.
WHAT SHOULD IT DO!?!:
- Create a Tox profile
- Connect to the Tox network
- NOT REQUIRE ANY ADDITIONAL LIBRARIES ( <-- THIS IS THE BIG ONE)
- Chat with other Tox users
What DOESN'T it do?
- Make waffles
