When testing for insertion of the current population for the archive, (a) identical individuals and (b) dominated individuals are filtered. But, whenever an individual from the population weakly dominates one from the archive, it is inserted. Especially during later optimization stages where the population contains different individuals but with the same objectives, this results in a constant insertion of basically the same solution to the archive.
