Btw, I really like the github pages + yaml metadata approach. We use it for our community ontology metadata registry http://obofoundry.org

It would really be quite delightful if the SDGs were developed by UN member states making +1s to PRs to Yaml docs on GitHub... but I rather expect that's not the case and these are copied from some other authoritative source! Perhaps in the future...
