Day 1 Discussion

• Revisiting how soon in the build process to include Opportunities/financial component
• Difference between US and EMEA tax law & how this might impact membership build
• One vs multiple Membership records for renewals

• Could use Products to track "count" of renewals
• Different orgs may have different criteria around member number when membership lapses (activate old number vs issue new number)
• Alumni associations, co-ops

• Roadmap of SFDO Recurring Donations, and how this impacts the Membership build

• Sounds like up/downgrades may become a part of this package in the future

Agreed to all focus on keeping it simple & postponing financial (Opportunity) automation. Could consider building some Flows in a future sprint that could be easily switched off or cloned/updated to handle membership <> Opportunity automation

Day 2

• Focused on development - key questions included whether to use Custom Metadata or Custom Settings, and how best to structure Issues for future work in additional sprints
