I've recently bought an attack shark x3 and it has been having problems while charging. When I plug in the mouse it works perfectly fine, the green light lights up & it says charging in software. Once I unplug it after few hours though it says the battery is 20% and a red light starts blinking. I'm not sure what to do about this, any tips?

I have the 2nd version of the mouse, but there is a problem with the sensor cuz sometimes it just stops for 0.5 seconds, although in the article you write that the 2nd version should not have problems, so there is no any updates for 2nd version to fix this?

@skrtrks Normally the charging light is purple, and once fully charged it is becomes green. Have you applied any mod to your mouse?

@senseoftruth I also have a V2 did not add any firmware update on it. I use a usb-a 2.0 extension cord that brings the wireless receiver closer to the mouse (~30cm distance from mouse). I have not noticed any sensor issue when playing FPS games, and also no stutter.

@SLAzurin I haven't applied any mods yet, sometimes it charges for a couple mins once I start my pc but will never charge again. I'm assuming the battery is fried or smth

i kinda dont understand the "hold caps lock" thing to check if i have a v1 or v2 board. also the software i downloaded already has the 4ms debounce time option? what am i missing here?

@giodegracia

The old x3 v1 mice's sensor will stop working when you hold down the caps lock key.
Ex: When I held down caps lock while moving my mouse, my windows cursor/pointer would stop moving.

The default option for Key Response Time is 8ms which is quite bad out of the box, which is why we need to set it to 4ms ourselves. They might have changed it with the V2 batch, but i'm not sure on this.

Before I saw this post, i was referring to the kysona website and I didn't know i wasn't supposed to download the upgrade file because my unit was a V2. I downloaded the file and bricked my mouse, any tips on how I can fix it? I followed the instructions on the kysona website and updated the driver for the receiver but when i tried updating the driver for the m600 i couldnt click the update button. Please help me

@dylsss I've never bricked any V2 variants myself so I don't know exactly for myself.

I have heard that you might revive your mouse in wired-mode this way.
Try using M600_20231013-_driver_for_M600_Mouse.zip.

I bought the Kysona M600 and I'm having a very annoying problem, when I click on the side button it changes the dpi, sometimes it goes back to normal but after 10 minutes it starts to bug again, I've tried everything, I updated the firmware, I downloaded that upgrade tool, I tried with other versions of the driver and nothing works, I put it in Bluetooth mode and even on my cell phone I have this problem

@SLAzurin
Owner Author

@freitassdev Unfortunately that has not been a common issue so I wouldn't know the details.
Maybe try to unbind all mouse buttons and rebind them like this:
image
If the mouse still has that bug after that, then you might want to claim the warranty on it if possible.
There's nothing else I can think of for things that you can do :(

@freitassdev i've got the same problem with my attack shark x3 v2, did u find a fix?

I tried everything, but the only way that worked for me was to set all the dpi presets to the same, so when I click on the button it will change to the same dpi.

@Palestrelios

@freitassdev yeah i did the same but when u swap from a preset to another the cursor stops moving for a lil. might not be an issue while browsing but is a big problem for gaming.
since i got it on amazon i'll get a refund and maybe try to buy another.

Something similar happened to me, but I placed the usb dongle closer to the mouse using the extender that comes with it, after I did this it stopped.

No it isn't the distance for me (i've an extender, got my dongle at 10-20 cm), it's the fact that swapping dpi profiles stops the sensor for a little, like 100 millisecond if I had to guess.

From this repo's home page, you can download all available files this way.
Make sure you only use the necessary files. Depending on the mouse variant, you might not need to use all files.
Follow the README on the homepage to know which ones to use.

I have a M600 Kysona mouse but when i leave it too long it goes to sleep mode and it wont work anymore.

It says in the customizable app that its in sleep mode.

I downloaded mouse and the receiver but it still doesn't work.

It works on cabled but thats about it. mouse buttons doesn't work. sensor does.

It just stays like this. I fixed it before by reheating the soldering. but it broke a part of my glass skates. is there anyway i can fix my mouse with out reheating the soldering?????

bad new to you: your dongle is now broken but you can try it wired
open the dongle updater and hit update, when it starts, you remove the wire (it will crash). Now go to the mouse updater and keep pushing til it is done. Now you can use it wired but problably your dongle still broken.

@Kerrom Might be because the Attack Shark software is uncommon. False positives are not unheard of for these kind of applications.

Hi guys, found a new issue that I haven't seen anyone talking about, you can see the behavior in the video below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1tnuejpyQU

After some observation it seems that the left click is actually triggering the bottom right button.
On bluetooth the problem is worse because it only needs a single click to lose connection.

Tried everything so far, mouse firmware, dongle, driver, it doesn't change anything, neither better or worse haha.
On the usb cable it works flawlessly

My attack shark X3 V2 did somethig similar, the thumb button changed dpi. since I had bought it on Amazon I contacted the seller, which sent me another one for free.
don't know if it's even possible to fix it, it might be an hardware problem

What I'm trying to find, is the Attack Shark R3 PRO Magnesium MCU type. Unfortunately, there are no teardowns published.

Here is what I discovered about the X3 you published.

1
Just checked on here, then I compared your published pictures and the datasheet, the logo seems to be of a BEKEN MCU chip, not sure about the model, maybe the BK3633. Compared to a Razer Viper V3 (and many others more expensive) that uses a Nordic nRF52840 (when Bluetooth 5.3 is almost never used...),

Nordic nRF52840

  • 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 CPU running at 64 MHz
  • 1024 kB of flash memory and 256 kB of RAM
  • Bluetooth 5.3 (it really depends on the chip revision, could be lower too...)
  • Single-precision floating-point unit (FPU)

BEKEN BK3633 (rebranded somewhere as Compx Tech CX52850)

  • 32-bit RISC Core with 80 KB data memory and up to 80 MHz
  • 500 KB programmable Flash
  • Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4 Ghz up to 2Mbps
  • NVM for code encryption and system security
  • no floating point unit (FPU)

Surely the Nordic chip, at least on paper, is more powerful than the Beken, not sure if the FPU is ever used in a mouse, or if it will ever impact the performance.

Hi guys, I bought v2, and without knowing it I just updated the firmware. The problem I had is that the mouse does not exceed 500hz polling rate even though it is set to 1000hz in the software. Is there any way to downgrade? Or have you had similar problems and resolved them?
