For discovering projects it would be nice to have something like a slideshow showing random projects. This would especially be useful when running in the background somewhere, e.g. as a projection at a Hack Week party.

I would imagine that we have a special slideshow page, where one random project is shown at a time. By default it should be one of the latest Hack Week, but we could add options to show one of a specific Hack Week or of all Hack Weeks later.

The slideshow should auto-advance and select and show a new random project after a given time (maybe 30 seconds by default, tweakable by a URL parameter?).

This could be the new front page. Although I'm not a big fan of carousels...

I'm not a big fan of carousels either, and I'm not sure if a random project would make a good front page. Maybe it would be better to have something a bit more targeted. I'll open a new issue for the front page to discuss this in more detail.
