This is a web application that allows users to view characters, stories and books of the Lord of the Rings series. Admin can add new users, and new characters. Admin can add new users and new characters.
Two systems: A Fedora 24 Web server and a Fedora 24 Database server. Scripting Language: php Database server: MySQL
Security features implemented are:
- Protection against XSS and SQLi using htmlsphecialchars, prepared statements, striptags.
- Protection against brute force attacks.
- Situational awareness through logging login attempts.
