Self Organizing Maps

Description

The purpose of this project is to analyze vehichle crash data for spatial trends using ArcGIS Desktop and temporal trends using self-organizing maps through the sompy python library.

Component Description

• Data: All data, including crash infromation from Polk and Scott Counties
• Figures: Car crash spatial distribution maps and temporal distribution heatmaps
• Reports: Final report and presentation.
• Code: Code for producing heatmaps.
• ArcGIS Project: Project used for creating maps.
