[Hello Microverse] is a short project with the objective of start practicing the professional way to work with Git and GitHub, using the basic commands adding branches, and linters and finally making PR to understand the workflow using GitHub.
- [Have been installed linters with custom settings for HTML and CSS]
- [Have 3 branches. The main branch, the feature branch, and the LICENSE branch]
- [In this project, we are practicing the pull request action, specifically for code review]
In order to clone this project you need:
◦ Installation of Git ◦ Installation of NPM ◦ A working browser ◦ Internet connection ◦ A code editor like Visual Studio Code ◦ Installation of Live Server plugging in Visual Studio Code
Clone this repository to your desired folder:
Whit the command "git clone and the link to the repository". You can create a copy in your local machine. If you want change the directory name destination just need write "git clone https:... <name_new_directory>"
For setting up the linters you need:
-Follow the steps mentionated in this article https://github.com/microverseinc/linters-config/tree/master/html-css
To run the project:
-Download the extension Live Server for Ritwick Dey. -Then close and open again VScode. -When you open the folder of the project in your local machine, in the lower left of your screen, you gonna see a item what says "Go Live". -Press that button and enjoy the working project!.
