Current Windows executable is not signed and this makes it a bit challenging adopting fnm in organizations with strict security policies.

It would be great to have code signed executable (fnm.exe). Organizations could trust/allow execution of fnm by specific certificate.

@Schniz would you consider adding code signing for Windows executable? Are there any obvious stoppers, f.e. lack of sponsor funding to obtain code signing certificate?

I am not sure this is possible, as I don't want to manage sponsorships for buying that certificate. Maybe an individual can sign the releases on its own.

If there were a free solution, I would've said that I'll accept PRs in that regard (that will auto-sign in our CI when we release), but I googled it and it seems like it's not possible.

wdyt?
