  • Current Situation: Our custom GoReleaser configuration, while functional, diverges from the open-source community's norms.
  • Proposal: Align with the default GoReleaser configuration, recognized and widely used within the community. This compatibility enhances our tool's interoperability with various installers and systems.
  • Release Packaging: Modify the packaging of release binaries to include .tar.gz files for macOS/Linux and .zip files for Windows. Incorporating the README.md and LICENSE files into these archives will provide users with essential information in a convenient format.
