This was an android app developed with the goal to raise awareness for cancer research. It was a marathon titled "5K run around Manchester" where people were encouraged to take part in a 5K steps run around Manchester to raise awareness for cancer research. The run starts in "Piccadilly Gardens" and ends in "Trafford". The event took place on 15th June 2018.
To get this app up and running go to "CharityRuns\app\src\main\res\values\strings.xml" and update the Google Maps API Key (and also update it in "CharityRuns\app\src\debug\res\values\google_maps_api.xml"), which can be created from Google Maps.
