Can I use Hydrogen to have 2 different website stores but with the same shopify store in the backend? #821

Sorry to correct you here @frehner — but you can in fact do this natively through the Hydrogen channel. You can create multiple storefronts, then have a unique domain pointed at each (ABC.com & DEF.com). You can currently create up to 25 public storefronts each with their own domain.

You currently can't publish products to individual stores (i.e. when you publish to Hydrogen, that product is available to all Hydrogen stores), so as you mentioned, you'd have to filter that through code or by providing some logic like attaching tags to products/collections (e.g. storefront:ABC indicates which to put which on).

There are a couple other challenges, for instance notification emails would need …
