Card-mod version 3.4 depreciated an old way to add CSS styles. Having card_mod: above style is now mandatory so this fixes that. More info here on that update here: thomasloven/lovelace-card-mod#332

Not a problem! I know, spent days trying to work out why the update broke the styles and only just noticed so thought it may be worth having it changed here as I recommend your guide to loads of people. Thank you so much again for your amazing work, genuinely can't thank you enough. My dashboard got put on Everything Smart Home's channel thanks to you! So thank you.

Nice, 9.6... Good work, like the use of the Honeycomb Menu aswell. Also appreciate the referrals to my channel on the comment section so cheers. Keep it up! I've taken a long break from YouTube Videos and there have been other ideas etc I want to publish but life is hard sometimes.

Thanks man. The honeycomb menu is wonderful. Really appreciate you spending the time to make that. Last thing I struggled with is the coloured lights on the dashboard making everything too desaturated to the point where the green cabinets and sofa in my living room were made to look black and white along with everything else any other colour in my apartment. I’m assuming there’s nothing I can do about that but had to turn off the colours as to not ruin the rest unfortunately.

I understand, really hope you’re doing okay bud. Hope everything works out for you and maybe hope to maybe see you back on YouTube soon. We’d all be so incredibly happy to have you back.

The key ingredients for the light colours is adding a sepia filter then hue values and adjust brightness accordingly. I'm still not entirely happy with how I've done it but it's satisfactory. The sepia and hue will illiminate everything that colour aswell which at first I thought was too saturated in the specific colour (meaning objects were also very saturated in that specific colour) but having actually see it with my own eyes it's actually how illumination works when it comes to coloured light, you can't tell something is blue if a green light is on it etc.

My only real advice is play around with the values and note the background needs to be darker than the light for the light to be considered "dominant" with the css lighten blend.
