Thanks, I just played around with the newest version (0.12.1), but it has a serious problem with spawning HAProxy instances when it reloads the configuration due to Go 1.5 bug (issue #442, hashicorp/consul-template#442). I'll wait for them to resolve that before updating the Consul template and then also the HAProxy configuration has changed a bit so the template needs to be updated.

Although it seems I already pushed the 0.12.2 update a little while ago. Well, I'll let that simmer for a while and update as soon as they get the new release out which according to the issue shouldn't cause the extra instances during stress any more.

@SirIle FYI: I've tried compiling with Go 1.6 beta2, and that fixes issue hashicorp/consul-template#442. I don't know if @hashicorp will release a 0.12.x built with Go 1.6, or if they'll wait for 0.13.x...
