  1. I worked on last minute bug fixes including image stitching and routing, putting together presentation slides and code cleanup.
  2. Bug fixes are always stressful, and it was also difficult to figure out when to stop. As the deadline approached, we found more things that could be improved, and we had to set a time to stop working on the project and move onto slides and documentations.
  3. In the future, there are loads of functionalities we would like to add, including private/public sessions, different sign-in options, allowing mobile play.

  1. I implemented websockets into our app and worked on last minute bug fixes with the team to finalize everything before demos.
  2. We faced a couple of challenges when we were polishing our app up since we made some big improvements pretty close to the deadline. These challenges included websockets not sending the messages in the right order, asynchronous workflows, and image stitching. It was difficult but we managed to finish everything in time before the demos.
  3. There are a lot of different features we thought of that would be fun to implement into our app. If we had more time, I would work on chat rooms and configurable game settings.

  1. Worked on last minute bug fixes with the team, fixed social sharing feature and implemented loading states. Prepared final readme and presentation slides and keynotes.
  2. We faced some challenges with timing navigation and updating states that caused a couple bugs including displaying the final image and preparing the final image url to share to pass to social media platforms.
  3. We have a lot of visions for the future of this project. We'd like to introduce more features to improve the game customizability such as configurable timers, private sessions, more interactivity for players while waiting for their turn.

  1. I worked on the Profile Dashboard by fixing up the Hall of Fame and making sure the logic of adding sessions to the user was working. In addition, I helped with some last-minute bug fixes, improved our documentation, and prepared the presentation with the team.
  2. We faced some challenges with bugs and design improvements we wanted to make, such as asynchronous workflows, stitching together the image, and updating the way we store sessions in the user. This definitely made our last sprint stressful at times.
  3. In the future, we would want to add more features to the game such as private/public rooms, different ways of authentication, configurable game settings, and maybe a chat room.

1. What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

Worked on adding session to user object on the frontend side and stripping the image from the bucket from previous image. Initially overlaid the image onto canvas but was changed by the team to have it rendered outside the canvas of the same dimension. Worked on presentation with the team and some documentation work in readme.

2. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

Had difficulty with the image overlaying task as it double uploaded the strip of image. Later was fixed by the team by using tag beside instead of overlaying the previous image on the current canvas as it uploaded that part of the image onto the bucket as well.

3. What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

Would like to incorporate new features such as being able to customize game settings and different game modes where there is a 5th player who has to guess the drawing.
