UK, FR, DE, ES, IT App Stores

The UK version of Amazon's app store now has a web page listing the free app of the day at http://www.amazon.co.uk/mobile-apps/b/ref=amb_link_171292727_1?ie=UTF8&nav_sdd=aps&node=1661657031

As requested in your app, I'm filing an enhancement request for UK users :-)

It does seem to be the same app as the US store though, at least for today.

Awesome! I'm working on the next release that will get the app out of beta and fix a few bugs.

I will plan to add this tool the release after that then. Do you know what time and zone the app is usually updated?

It seems to have reset at midnight local time. I'm not sure if it was precisely midnight or not, but it was sometime between 23:00 and 00:39, and the 'time left' counter corresponds to midnight, so it would make sense.

It might change between BST (GMT+1) during the summer and GMT+0 at other times, but I only just noticed the page so I can't confirm that.

Ok, that should give me something start with. If the app is the same as the US setting the notification for late in the day may make it accurate for the time being.

I've already started on a new pattern for the code on the server to be able to handle multiple countries. I'll see if I can work it into version 2.1.3 in the coming weeks. Version 2.1.2 is currently in development.

Just to provide further information, today's app of the day (Saturday 25th May) seems to be different for the UK and US stores - Tetris in the UK, Totemo HD in the US.
