Note: The recommended firmware version for Snapmaker 2.0 is 1.14.2. Have to update firmware version for Snapmaker 2.0 equal or
above 1.14.1 to use wifi connection

  • Improvement: Optimized Gcode preview with single-layer view and top-layer view in 3DP editor
  • Improvement: Optimized "Scale to fit" feature in 3DP editor based on printable area and rotation around z-axis in 3DP editor
  • Improvement: Optimized the layout and interaction of the left column, especially the rotating panel in 3DP editor

Special Notes

  • Improvement: Added protection against machine type mismatch
    • When the connected machine does not match the toolhead selected in the settings, Camera Capture is not allowed
    • When the connected machine and the selected file in G-code Files tab do not match, the Send to Device button is not allowed in workspace editor

Known issues

  • The Open Project and Import Object button on the main menu bar cannot import the corresponding files on macOS, you can alternatively use the left menu bar to import, and this will be fixed in subsequent versions
  • It will encounter an invalid authentication error when connecting to wifi when firmware version for Snapmaker 2.0 is below 1.14.1.
