Flask has been suggested to be such framework

👍 given all the microframeworks available nowadays is a no go to start and try to keep growing without a framework to keep the burden away from doing boring tasks

I will start by migrating what we have into Flask and then separating the current CGI into 2 views.

@jordimas Ok. I have started the migration to Jinja in the web part some time ago. It should work but didn't test it yet. Also the changes need some cleanup (commented code). Feel free to pick: unho@73cc531
