The code of BitWatts that we used for the EuroSys conference is available here. The purpose of this page is to explain how to launch the experiments, how to process data and how to create charts.

Two Intel processors are used for this article:

  • Intel Xeon W3520; max. frequency: 2.66GHz; SpeedStep, HyperThreading, TurboBoost enabled
  • Intel i3 2120; max. frequency: 3.30 GHz; SpeedStep, HyperThreading enabled

A CLI has been used to launch the experiments for the figures 8/9 and 10 [download]. All the required informations to use it are available here.

The experiments are described below:
