Origamis can be viewed as algorithms, for each origami, one algorithm that contains all the instructions for folding

These can become very numerous, and very complex Video

This project consists of:

COGNITIVE MODEL CREATION AND COMPUTER SIMULATION

  1. create a system to enable users to upload an algorithm (exact syntax to be decided) from the algorithm generate a 3D visual image animation of the folding process from beginning to end (so that humans can follow it) - This is a computer simulation of an origami making-
  2. based on the total number of algorithms in the system database, generate a novel origami design that is not yet in the system (possibly using a generative ANN?)

POSSIBLY USING THE MODEL AND SIMULATION TO TRAIN A ROBOT TO MAKE ORIGAMIS BASED ON GIVEN INSTRUCTION AND TO GENERATE NEW ORIGAMIS

It should be possible to use this tool to learn about: geometry and algebra computer simulation 3D Animation Generative ANN
