Expected Behaviour

Actual Behaviour

The grid, constellation and horizon lines disappear after I initiate the telrad view while being in the ocular view.
This only happens if the "Hide grids and lines when enabled" ocular setting is ticked.

Steps to reproduce

Start ocular view
While still in ocular view, start telrad view
Stop telrad view
Zoom out and all lines and grids are missing and not responsive.

System

  • Stellarium version: Version 23.4.0
  • Operating system: Win 11 Pro
  • Graphics Card: Intel UHD Graphics 630. Driver version 31.0.101.2115
  • Screen type (if applicable): 1920x1080

Will be fixed by #1521, whenever I finally find the time for it. These tons of intermixed settings are not easy to play through. For now, don't switch between ocular and telrad directly.

Many thanks Gzotti, really appreciate all the work you guys do on Stellerium. It's an amazing program that I enjoy using.

Just found some other odd behaviour caused by the ocular plugin. When you initiate the telrad sight the Star absolute and relative scale settings are reset to 1.00 in View>Sky>Stars settings.

This is generally intended, see note at end of 16.1.1. There should be several sets of settings to be handled individually. However, it was never foreseen to switch from one special case to another, directly.
