Isn't it IIS that recycles not ASP.Net?

They both recycle at their own scope. ASP.NET recycles the app domain (e.g., if you change web.config), and IIS will recycle the process that hosts ASP.NET. In this particular case (the periodic recycle), it is in fact IIS doing that. |
