Win 7 x64, latest ST3.

  • Unpack portable edition into C:\Test\ST3, launch, set a few user settings, and quit
  • Move editor’s folder to C\Test\$\ST3, launch, go to settings and… nothing there

It seems this bug is floating around since February at least.

Could you be so kind to fix it, please?

I'm guessing this is related to expand_variables: #1878 (comment)

112 days passed, a fresh build 3160 still has this bug present.

Fixed in build 4161.
