Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, when subscribers complete a sign-up they are taken to
/thankyou
however, some shop admins want to control the final URL subscibers are taken to after sign-up.Describe the solution you'd like
As a shop admin, I can set a custom thank you URL destination.
I'd like to see a button under the Shop Settings called Change Thank You Page/ Payment Successful Page URL so that shop owners know that this is the page that will be shown after customers complete their subscription payment.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The desire for shop owners to take their subscribers to a page they control may be a flawed one, especially if the page they choose looks completely different/contains no confirmation*.
Be sure to help shop owners understand the communications they may need to put in place to add value to the experience rather than confuse it.
Additional context
To make it possible for the shop owner to display contextual confirmation on their chosen destination URL, we may provide the following as
GET
parameters appended to the destination URL they choose such asPotentially make this behaviour optional too, to avoid sending data externally without explicit understanding of the ramifications by the shop owner.
Message in question: I've embedded the link into my website and gone through setting Stripe as a test payment. When I go through the test, I complete the transaction and then I'm left on a blank page at the end. how do I direct people to a website page again once they've made the payment? Thanks
