This version adds a lot of new features!

  • The Namco G-Con/GunCon light gun controllers are now supported to some degree, thanks to a lot of help from Matheus Fraguas (@sonik-br).
  • Eddie Lau (@tylau0) helped get the Densha de Go! controllers supported.
  • Now we also have Rumble support thanks to some work by Kate (@katemonster33).

Thanks to all contributors, and as always... Enjoy!

This release adds support for the Namco neGcon and JogCon controllers, originally released for Ridge Racer.

It also includes some minor fixes, the most prominent of which are:

  • Start with all analog axes at midway position
  • Allow retrieving all analog button data at once

It was also tested with the DualShock Controller for PSOne (SCPH-110) and found to be working fine.

Enjoy!

Version 0.2.0

This release adds compatibility with the European Dual Analog Controller (SCPH-1180e). Hopefully the US version (SCPH-1180) will work as well, and so will the Japanese version (SCPH-1150), even though the latter has more pronounced differences (it has vibration motors, for instance) so it's hard to say. Please report.

It also adds an example that shows how the library can be used with PsxControllerShield, an Arduino shield I have designed as a safe and straightforward reference for connection of a PlayStation controller to an Arduino board.

Finally, this release addresses some compilation warnings.

After much testing with quite a bit of different devices, I am glad to release the first version of this library.

Merry Christmas! :)
