English translation for the XMB on the PSX (DVR).
Currently only (tested) for newer models with Firmware 2.11
Tested on a PSX DESR-5700 with Firmware 2.11.
Requires FMCB and wLaunchELF kHn
- Copy the folder "__system" to a FAT32 (MBR) formatted USB drive.
- Start wLaunchELF on your PSX and go to "mass:/"
- Open the folder "__system" MARK both "dic" and "xosd" with cross (X)
- Press R1 on your controller and select "Copy" from the list
- Go back to the main menu and open "hdd:/"
- Open now the folder "__system" copy both folders in this directory with R1 -> "Paste"
- Several overwrite popups will appear -> Confirm with "OK"
- After everything has been copied, restart your console or press "Quit game"
- The system should be now in English
