Clone the forked repo into your system https://github.com/your-username/Basic-java.git

Go inside that cloned folder. cd Basic-java

Create a branch to into your local folder. git branch <BRANCH_NAME>

Now checkout to the branch. git chechkout <BRANCH_NAME>

Now create any code file(extension has to be .java) and save changes.

Now follow these 3 make first PR(If you are a Beginner). git add . git commit -m "Any Message you want to write" git push origin <BRANCH_NAME>
