  • Environment: master

Description of feature/enhancement
Add onboarding tour (e.g. this tour of Gmail for new users) to introduce new instructors to the TEAMMATES UI.

Justification
Making a tour of the site available to new instructors will familiarise them with the site's interface and allow them to start using TEAMMATES quickly.

Existing similar features and their shortcomings
At the moment, we use the getting started section of the instructor help page to host the new instructor onboarding material. However, this presents two problems:

  1. If they are new to TEAMMATES, instructors will take time to find the help page
  2. Because it opens up in a different page from the actual interface, users either have to refer to both pages at the same time or read the guide before trying it out on the actual UI

Having a tour that is integrated with the actual UI will help to familiarise new users with the interface more smoothly.

Yes, it can be a useful feature to have. Need to figure out a way to do it that is not too much extra work to create and keep up-to-date
