About Final Projects

David Rogers edited this page Nov 20, 2015 · 1 revision

The last three weeks of the cohort are allocated for the execution of a capstone project designed to utilize and display all of the skills you've cultivated throughout the course. Each student will pitch an idea for a final project on the Friday of the last week of instruction, barring holidays, each student will vote for the proposals they prefer to work on, and the Instruction and Operations Teams will select a short list of viable projects taken from those pitches and votes, assigning teams of students for their completion. The Instruction Team will be divided as mentors and Product Owners for the remainder of the cohort, assisting the student teams in the execution of planning, prototyping, building and refining. This process culminates in an event called Demo Day, in which the student projects are presented to the community for review.
