I'd like to see the drag selection feature from GTKradiant 1.5 being ported to 1.6 - it is a great way to select multiple brushes/patches/entities at the same time and really speeds things up at times.
You use drag selection by holding down the shift key and dragging a selection frame in your viewport. Radiant will then select everything within the frame.
This should not apply to surfaces, paint selection (ctrl+alt+shift+LMB) should be left untouched.

It depends a lot on personal editing style.
1.5's drag selection is awful and creepy for me, since in most of cases i need to select only visible brushes, like 1.4 and 1.6 do, but not everything :o
You can get needed selection style by using RBM->select menu.

paint selection (ctrl+alt+shift+LMB)

probably ctrlt+shift+LMB?

By the way
Undoing paint operation after using ctrlt+shift+LMB drag selection is bugged.
It produces copy of painted brushes :D
Also, built in shader editor doesn't open shaders.

Here is a handy table that compares selection shortcuts available on GtkRadiant 1.5 vs. 1.6. Because there is an odd set of differences between the two versions, I highlighted what I thought would be a good delta between the two.

Selection Control Shortcuts

If not already present, handles should be available to shortcuts.ini so users can customize as they see fit.

Hello,

I would really want to see this in radiant 1.6 too. Really speedy way to adjust lenght / width / height of stuff.
