I was just wondering if there is any scope currently for adding an additional function to the Timed assignments where students may have 24 hours perhaps after fetching an assignment to complete it.

This would allow for staggered start times within a certain window. We have this use case where students have access to assignments for a week but then only have 24 hours to submit it.

hi @milandeepbassi,

Thanks for your request - we're in the middle of a fairly major upgrade at the moment, we're working through a release of version "0.2.*" for the grader-service, grader-convert and grader-labextension packages. Our efforts will be going into bugfix releases for the near term.

We've talked a bit about a feature that would enable a sort of automatic upload of assignments after the deadline expires, but have not thought much about a timer started by the students as you are suggesting - it's kind of a nested deadline if I understand you correctly.
