Project Title The Impact of COVID-19 on NYC Housing Violation

• Project summary:

  • We develop a Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization shiny app on the Housing Violation Status in NYC using NYC open data released on the NYC Open Data By Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) website.

  • We use this shiny app to visually show the impact of COVID-19 on NYC Housing Violation to help the government make decisions on housing and improve the home buying/rental process considering the effect of the pandemic.
